We are married!!

We tied the knot on December 6th 2008 at 2:00pm on the dot. After 6 years of being in each other’s lives we are officially husband and wife. I am so happy to have my best friend and the love of my life at my side for the years to come.

We have a video preview of our photos we got from our photographer the night of our wedding but I need to upload it to the site so you all can see it. I also got my photos from the wedding so look for those to come soon…most likely this weekend.

For those of you wondering Jose and I decided to take a few days off from work and relax and after Christmas we are heading away for our honeymoon. I can’t wait to relax and just enjoy each other’s company.

Until next time….

Twilight....Books, Movie, Girls

Well, i jump on the bandwagon and read all four books and became totally obsessed with Edward, in fact i have read the 1st book twice, i know i am nuts Jose thought so too. It would make him so upset; all i wanted to do was read and read, he had to take care of himself for awhile.

The girls from work and I started reading them at the same time, so every day at work that was all we talked about, plus the fact that we could barely keep our eyes open throughout the day. My sorority sisters were also all into it so i had to jump in, but it sure did take a lot of time away from the wedding planning and poor Jose.

Anyway so a group of the girls from work went to see the movie last Saturday, but i few of us a couldn't make since we were leaving for Vegas. So we ended up going to the 12:01AM showing at Edwards in Rancho the day it came out, again what was i thinking....so many little girls. I thought anyone under 18 had to be home after 10:00pm, guess not they were all at the movie theater. Okay so we get there early to get seats, thank god one of the other girls was already there and saved us seats because at 9:30pm it was full already. There were 6, i mean 6 theaters playing the movie and all of them were sold out. All you saw were girls between the ages of 10 - 18 which was the majority and then the rest of us oldies but goodies. Yet for there being so may girls they actually were quiet during the movie.....I was so happy for that.

On that note; i liked the movie but i think more could have been done, the book was much better, i don't think i will ever go to a midnight showing again.

Wedding Stuff

So the wedding is quickly approaching and we are down to about 5 weeks, 4 weekends to get things done and thanksgiving around the corner. Plus Jose and I have been in our house just over a year now, I can't believe we have been living together for so long doesn't seem like it at all. I guess that is a good thing. Here is a photo when we got the keys to our house.

This last weekend Jose and I didn't really get to do much for Halloween, he had to work late so I gave out candy with Leo (he dressed up as a Hot dog) and enjoyed a glass of wine. Saturday I went to Glen Ivy with a few of the girls from work since we all needed to distress with everything going on. Let me just say it was so nice to relax and not have to think about anything. I had a great message, facial and a good time with good friends. These good friends are even throwing me a bridal shower at work; I was so surprised when they told me. So my second bridal shower will be tomorrow so I hope to have some photos from that.

The month of October

The month of October, what a month we had so much going on. There was my bridal shower, the Dodger playoff game, our trip to Oakland to watch the Raider game(mind you I am not a fan) and a Diaz family party. Jose and I also went with some of the guys from my work to the first game at the Citizens Business Bank Arena to watch the Lakers game I haven't had much time to update our blog so I have a lot to show and tell.

October 11th was the bridal shower and we went to the Dodger game that following Sunday and the watched the Dodgers when their only game. My bridal Shower was at my parents house hosted by my mom and my maid of honor Kerry, let me just say what a great job they did for me. Kerry worked so hard, there was so much detail involved from the invites to the tables, flowers, food and décor. Everyone loved it. Here are some photos from the shower that my sister took.
Lots of decor at my parents house

Everyone enjoying a game

Later on I will post photos of the Dodger game, raider game, and Diaz family party.

The wedding...

Okay so our wedding is getting closer we have about 9 weeks to get all the little details done and i am starting to freak out a little. I was doing great for awhile there. I was ahead of the game with everything booked but now work is tying me up more and my free time is now...well i have less of it. My bridal shower is this weekend and from there everything is a downhill tumble to the end...our wedding day. I am really excited it has been a long time coming...6 years but i wish i had a few more weeks to get things done.

Joining the world of Blogging

Well, I have decided that I needed to join the world of blogging. Many of my friends have blogs and I am consistently viewing their posts to see what they are up too. So, I also wanted to provide them with an update of what is going on in my life.

There are so many changes going on between work and my new family that I have starting sharing with my finance Jose that I hardly ever get a chance to revisit with old friends. I figure this is a way that I can reconnect with a lot of my friends that I don’t see on a regularly basis.

I hope that I can make a good effort at posting regularly when things are going on in my life.

I will be taking some time to complete my blog with photos and info, so stay tune.
